Purpose of This Manual

The SAHPRA Engagement Portal https://portal.sahpra.org.za/ is an online platform designed to facilitate interactions between applicants and the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA). This portal enables users to submit and track applications, manage their profiles, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

This manual provides step-by-step guidance on how to effectively use the portal, including navigation, user account management, and submission of applications.

  • Manage user profiles, including login, logout, and password resets.

User Role Breakdown

Individual:

  • Individual users have access to the submission, amendment, or viewing of any applications they action and its progress. They can engage with the platform to initiate, modify, or monitor the progress of applications falling within their purview. Note that Applicants that are not part of an organisation can use this option.

Employee:

  • Employees within a company are granted access to submit, amend, or view any applications that the company undertakes and monitor their progress. Alternatively, some employees may have restricted access limited solely to viewing applications and tracking their progress within the company’s portfolio.

Organisation Administrator:

  • Organisation administrators possess comprehensive access to the company’s application processes. This includes the ability to submit, amend, or view any applications the company initiates, along with monitoring their progress and status. Additionally, they can edit both company details and individual profile details. Furthermore, they manage user permissions for employees ensuring efficient management of access levels.
