This page tracks only significant changes made to the SAHPRA Engagement Portal that apply to the internal SAHPRA team.

Version 1.7.0 (2025-09-19)

Health Product Applications

  • Added the ability for MetaSync to capture the related sequence of any sequence being synced to the portal.
  • Added a restriction to only allow users to select a Master strength when creating a Clone or *Replica** variation.
  • Resolved an issue with applications showing Sub Type Not Listed
  • Resolved an issue when trying to update Submission Data on a legacy application that did not work when the submission type was NULL
  • Updated how the portal handles identifying the Application Submission Type when it is not listed first on the application

  • Grouped Variations now require approval from the HPA Unit. Please refer to the Grouped Variations guide for a guide on how to review and approve a Grouped Variation.
  • Updated the Query Letter upload guide to reflect the new Query Letter upload process. Please refer to the Query Letter upload guide for details.

Health Product Applications

  • Resolved an issue with MetaSync data generating duplicate Submission numbers for HPA Applications
  • Introduced a new feature to allow internal users to upload documents to an HPA Application. This can be done from the new Documents tab on the Application View page.

General

  • Reworked all Application ID generation to use a reservation system to ensure that the Application ID is unique.
  • Resolved an issue when trying to assign a user to a unit from the Unit management dashboard.

  • Fixed an issue where the Application Timeline on a review was displaying incorrect
